Picture of Frisky

Frisky is the little kitten sitting under my car, the purple Escort, in my July post. Just thought you might like to see him at his best.

I'm back but with some sad news....

Today is Saturday, August 21, 2010. I have not posted here for quite a while, mostly because one of "my" kittens died. I found him, Frisky, dead in my back yard on Wed., July 21st . I suspect a hawk may have attacked him but got scared off by our dogs. Our dogs live with nine cats, so they are very protective of cats. It took me this long to feel strong enough to write the sad news. I put Frisky in a blanket, then in a box, and wrote a note on the outside of the box, in him memory. His precious little body is actually still in our chest freezer and as soon as I can "let go," I will bury him. This absolutely broke my heart. I know nature can be brutal and everything happens for a reason. I trust God is taking care of Frisky in Heaven now. At least Frisky doesn't have any pain or worries any more. I feel so bad for his Mommy though. I have talked to her several times and she seems to be carrying on pretty well, as is his sister (or brother), Bashful.

Other than that devastating news, all is well. My indoor fur babies are all doing fine and keeping me forever busy, but I love it. My heart breaks every time I lose one of them, but that is the price of loving deeply.

As far as me, personally, I am participating in a weight loss research study with Zeropoint Global. I am a consultant for Zeropoint Global, http://www.dthompson.zeropointglobal.com/ and started the study on Monday, August 2, 2010 and have already lost 8 pounds. I also feel in a much more balanced and happy mood, which is a delightful change in my life. I have an overall feeling of wellbeing.

Thanks for reading my dear friend! You are what keeps me going.
Love and Many Blessings,
DottieCat
Here's Frisky's Mom, Pretty Mama. God bless her for being such a good Mom while he lived.

Happy Thursday!

Bashful, the mostly-white kitten, is as its name expresses, very timid. Probably because of the light color being highly visible, especially at night. At least I get great pictures when Bashful is in them. I will try to get some daylight pictures soon. Please pray I can catch them soon, safely and effortlessly. :)

I love you all. Have a wonderful day! Namaste, DottieCat
